Technical Project Manager

Job Description

The Technical Project Manager will take a hands on approach to leading and managing the technical aspects of implementing the Fibroblast referral management solution in collaboration with the company’s clients. This position requires some travel, but the candidate must live in the Chicago area. This role will report to the Vice President of Client Success.

Salary Range

$80,000 - $115,000 - based on experience/other skills

You are responsible for

Developing project plans that include:

  • Comprehensive WBS (work breakdown structure)
  • Change Management Plan
  • Communication Plan
  • Risk Management Plan
  • Stakeholder Analysis
  • Resource Management Plan
  • Work with customer to define implementation scope and requirements, then use team resources to execute and deliver
  • Manage project risk and resolve conflicts
  • Deliver scope of projects on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the customer and account team.
  • Coordinating, leading, influencing and motivating a diverse cross-functional team of internal and external Sales, Operational and Technical resources in coordination with the client-provided project manager or point of contact
  • Effectively communicating with all project stakeholders and third party vendors including regular project updates and project meetings as outlined in the project plan
  • Assist in creating strategies for driving engagement and utilization of software solutions
  • Create mechanism for gathering client and user feedback to analyze and gain insights from it to share with the team
  • Perform analytics regularly related to project status, network analytics, utilization reporting, call center performance, and other
  • Other project work as needed

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education in the areas of: Clinical or Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, Consulting, Hospital Administration
  • Knowledge and experience in Project Management (3+ years) and Healthcare IT (1+ years) within a Healthcare Environment preferred (Consulting, Hospitals, Medical Groups,Technology, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to demonstrate effective influential leadership across all project resources/stakeholders; ability to effectively negotiate.
  • Ability to manage and lead multiple projects concurrently
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of various Project Management software tools
  • Prefer experience with electronic medical record technology (i.e. Athena, Epic, Cerner, NextGen, etc.)
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time (fluctuates monthly from 0% to 30%)
